About Art to the Artic :
When Barbara Shaw told me that she and her husband
Kirk were going to Dead
Horse Alaska- I said - Wow !- What a fantastic
place to visit! The Arctic Circle! I'll probably never
get there in my lifetime, but I would love to have
my art go there for me- would you take one of my little
paintings for me with you and photograph it there?
... And she said Yes!- and then she decided to take
her work and then I asked-How about a small travelling
show? How many can you take?- She said that she could
take some to fit in the size of a shoebox...So I made
a plexiglass mount and bought 12 2x3 inch canvases
from Mo's
Art Supply in Covington and I gave her a canvas
plus some for her to invite artists and I also invited
artists and Barbara and her husband Kirk are going
to take them on their trip to the Arctic circle to Dead
Horse Alaska and photograph them there and bring
them back and then we will all go to dinner and talk
about it. Maybe we'll even show them here or elsewhere..

Kirk will be emailing me with updates and photos as
they go along the way.To those who could not participate
this time around- Stay in touch! I have a friend who
also wants to take some to Peru and another who might
possibly take some over seas to Asia ...Care to host
